When Charlotte Glasson was a teenager, she formed a string Quartet with some friends to play for functions and parties and decided to arrange some pop and jazz tunes for them to play.
Charlotte also does string quartet arrangements on request, ie. if someone is getting married and wants a particular tune for their big day, but an arrangement for String Quartet can’t be found.
Charlotte has arranged music for strings for Nick Cave, Nerina Pallot (and brass for a gig at Union Chapel), BBC Concert Orchestra, Will Young, songs Simple Philosophy, Walk Away, Dutch artist Hind and producers Steve Power and Mike Spencer.
